About Us
In 1986, FUSAL was formed to support the development of the most vulnerable Salvadoran communities. The organization has worked hard with thousands of families to break the cycle of poverty by implementing social programs focused on health, education, and community building that progress in harmony. The objective of FUSAL is to contribute to overcoming poverty in El Salvador through its different solutions: • Early Childhood: Help vulnerable communities overcome infant malnutrition and improve early stimulation care. • Educational Quality: Improving the educational quality of public schools. • Humanitarian Aid: Improving national response capacity in the public health system, emergencies, and humanitarian crises. • Local Development: Managing comprehensive programs and interventions for local development. FUSAL currently has a presence in 14 departments and serves more than 16,000 children.
