  • May 4-5: Global Digital Development Forum
  • May 6, 9 a.m. EDT: “Generation 2030: USAID Celebrates Youth Partnerships.” The Youth Economic Opportunity (YEO) 2030 Initiative invites you to join Administrator Power for the launch of USAID’s updated Youth in Development Policy and to celebrate the stories of the role of USAID investments in young people determining their future in the world. Attend the event.
  • May 12, 9:30 a.m. - 11 a.m. EDT: USAID’s external partners are invited to join USAID’s Agency Learning Agenda Public Launch Webinar. Registration is required. Register for the event. 
  • May 18, 3 p.m. - 5 p.m. Pakistan Standard Time: USAID/Pakistan 🇵🇰 will hold an online information session for all interested potential applicants for a Local Works opportunity focused on strengthening community cohesion and mitigating social intolerance. The session will be recorded, and the recording will be posted online after the event. All interested organizations must provide their name and email address for registration purposes to the PakistanLocalWorks@usaid.gov by May 12, 2022. Intimidation. Violence. Hacking. These are among the threats Indonesian journalists face just to do their jobs. Although Indonesia has made impressive gains in political freedom in the last two decades, an apparent backsliding of democracy in recent years threatens that progress. USAID’s New Partnerships Initiative (NPI) responded by creating Media Empowerment for Democratic Integrity and Accountability (MEDIA), a project to strengthen Indonesia’s free press including through partnerships with seven local organizations.
